I dream about us
Every day,
Simple things really,
Like strolling
The beach hand in hand,
Taking in the sunset
Together,
Holding you in my arms
On a quiet evening,
Or the way it would
Feel to wake up
Beside you every morning,
And how wonderful
It would be to kiss you
Goodnight every night
And sleep wrapped in
The warmth of your love.
I know that these
Are simple things,
But to me they are
The most wonderful
Things in life,
The very dreams that
Get me through the day,
And keep me hopeful
About tomorrow.
